ABOUT ME

untitled-5552.jpg

Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm a bi-racial American actress (half Dominican, half British), born and raised in Nashua, NH. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be an actress, and was thrilled when I got my first "big break" as ‘Fanny’, one of the 3 main goats in my elementary school play, "Nanny Goats. Sure, my name was pulled out of a hat to play one of the nanny goats, but I knew that meant my dream of wanting to act wasn't just a dream, but destiny!

I earned a B.S. in Marketing and minor in Media Studies from Plymouth State University, and started a career in business. After a few years of working in the "real world", I realized that I could no longer push my true passion aside. At that point I began pursuing acting like never before, training and acting when I could on nights/weekends in student and independent films. A few years after that, I left my 9-5 to become a working actor full-time.

In addition to being cast in lead and supporting roles in a number of independent films, I have many commercial credits to my name, including a Fanatics commercial which aired nationally on NFL Network and an Amazon commercial which was the featured cover story on Good Morning America. I recently won Best Short Film at the 2021 Shawna Shea Film Festival for "Cosgrove Bridge" which I wrote and acted in, as well as Best Original Film in the 2020 Slate Casting 90 Second Virtual Film Festival for "Build a Boyfriend" which I wrote, shot, edited and acted in. I'm represented by Model Club, Inc. in Boston.
